Rallying call!

It has come to our notice that more and more people are receiving our information from the website alone, and thus forgoing the small cost of subscribing to Share International magazine.

Not everyone can, or does, use the internet, and it is essential to have an outer, physical expression, which can display with photographs, the events of which we speak. That means there has to be a magazine, which of course requires a lot of work from volunteers, and a lot of money to produce. There may be a notion that Hierarchy dishes out money for this work, but it is not the case. Subscriptions to Share International are an essential part of maintaining our work and reaching the public. The cost of the subscription is kept as low as possible, the magazine is not subsidised by advertisements and printing and postal charges are mounting all the time.

Surely we would all agree that all those who seriously believe in this work would want to support the magazine, whether or not they read the information on the internet.

Thank you for your support.

The ways of the New Time

by the Master —, through Benjamin Creme, 11 April 2011

Recent events in the Middle East have brought humanity face to face with a number of problems. The Western powers have become embroiled, largely against their will, in a Libyan civil war which they did not recognize as such. Their main concern was to safeguard an uninterrupted flow of oil, close at hand, in Libya. They also wanted to help the people of Benghazi facing slaughter by the forces of an ageing, quixotic tyrant, who had watched aghast at the apparently successful overthrow by its people of a powerful neighbouring tyranny.

Little did the Western powers know that the peaceful protests of the Egyptian people had escalated in Libya into armed revolution without the planning, leadership or arms to ensure success.

The United Nations agreed a mandate for a no-fly-zone but should have followed it up with a UN peacekeeping force, hopefully drawn from the Arab countries. Failure to do so has precipitated the present difficult situation for all concerned.

Under the impact of the powerful energies now focused by Maitreya and His group, the people of the Middle East are undergoing a great awakening, and are demanding new freedoms and participation in the management of their lives. Nor are these demands confined to the Middle East. More and more, these same demands for participation and justice are being heard throughout the world. The young in particular are sensing the need for a new kind of world, one which allows them to develop and express themselves, free from the old dogmas of their elders. What we are witnessing is nothing less than a renaissance of the young people of the Earth, freeing themselves from the tyranny of hatred and war, bigotry and separation. Nothing can for long halt their progress. This is the New Time and the young are testing themselves in the struggle for new life.

The old order is deeply entrenched and hard to overcome. The old tyrants in every field of life are loath to forgo their power and wealth, and fight hard against the tide of change, but they fight against the energies and will of Divinity Itself, and must give way in due course. A greater power than that of all the powerful on this Earth demands expression and nothing can prevent its manifestation. It is the way of the future, planned from the beginning of the world.

Nothing can halt its progress and the young are its harbingers. Listen keenly to the young, they have the future safely in their hearts. Not for nothing was it the young of Tahrir Square who sat at Maitreya’s feet as He taught them the ways of the future, the ways of the New Time, the Time of Peace, Justice and Sharing, of Freedom and Love.

Global fraud: global hope

by Paul Hellyer

The following is an abridged version of a speech by former Canadian Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Paul Hellyer at the International UFO Congress held in Arizona, USA, in February 2011. Mr Hellyer not only gave Share International permission to reprint material from his speech but requested that we disseminate the ideas contained in it.

The world financial system is a total fraud. It is one gargantuan Ponzi scheme [in which banks] lend the same money to several people or institutions at the same time and collect interest on it from each. What the banks really lend, however, is their credit, and what they take back in compensation for that privilege is a debt that must be repaid with interest.…

A world system where all the money is created as debt is a perpetual disaster in the making. It is like a giant balloon that the banks pump full of debt. The balloon gets larger and larger until the debt load becomes too heavy to carry, and then it is like a balloon with a pin stuck in it. The system crashes and thousands or sometimes millions of innocent people lose their jobs, homes, farms and businesses.…

The long-term influence of the banking cartel is incalculable. Their biggest coup was the establishment of the Federal Reserve System in the United States. The big New York banks really didn’t like the idea of genuine competition, so a small group held a secret meeting at the private resort of JP Morgan on Jekyll Island, off the coast of Georgia [in 1910]. Their scheme, devised by Paul M. Warburg, and subsequently adopted by Congress, is a legal private monopoly of the US money supply operated for the benefit of the few under the guise of protecting and promoting the public interest.…

To put it bluntly, the Congress transferred its sovereign constitutional right to create money to the sole custody of a group of private bankers. The magnitude of the heist is unprecedented in the history of the world – the numbers now are in the high trillions.…

Global warming

While bank reform is the most urgent problem facing the world today, it is global warming that has equally or even greater long-term consequences. It is a total fraud to pretend that we have 30, 40 or 50 years to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.…

Still the oil cartel is making plans as if nothing is going to change, and that we are going to be stuck with a fatal oil economy for decades until the damage is irreversible. It is too late to begin more offshore drilling. It is too late for new developments in the Alberta oil sands. It is too late for more noisy windmill farms. The transition must start now, with a 10-year deadline.

Is that possible? Of course it’s possible but only with the kind of mobilization essential to win a war for survival. One excuse for inaction has been the lack of money due to government deficits and debt. But that obstacle can be overcome in less than a year if governments and legislatures change the system and exercise their sovereign right to make what is physically possible financially possible. Heaven knows there are millions of unemployed workers worldwide waiting to rise to the challenge.

The other major obstacle has been a lack of consensus on the form of clean energy to use to replace fossil fuels. And that brings me, finally, to the subject of the day, the extraterrestrial presence and technology.

The extraterrestrial presence and technology

It is a fraud for the US government to pretend that it is not interested in UFOs. In fact, it has been a matter of high and probably pre-eminent interest for decades.

An early Canadian ufologist, Wilbert Smith, who was a senior employee at the Department of Transport, where I became minister not long after his retirement, wrote a top secret memorandum to the Controller of Communications dated 21 November 1950, asking permission to set up a group to study the geomagnetic aspects of UFOs’ propulsion systems.

As part of his memorandum Smith said that he had made discreet enquiries through the Canadian embassy staff in Washington where he obtained the following information.

(a) The matter is the most highly classified subject in the United States government, rating higher even than the H-bomb.

(b) Flying saucers exist.

(c) Their modus operandi is unknown but concentrated effort is being made by a small group, headed by Doctor Vannevar Bush.

(d) The entire matter is considered by the United States authorities to be of tremendous significance.

So, Dr Vannevar Bush, one of America’s pre-eminent scientists, and a team of experts he had assembled, were already working on back-engineering by 1950. (Back-engineering is the combined art and science of analyzing an object, in this case parts of a crashed vehicle, in order to determine its characteristics for possible replication or adaptation.) .…

It is very difficult to imagine how much has been achieved in 60 years of back-engineering alien technology that was much more advanced than our own. There is no doubt that myriad scientists, technicians, and many of America’s most advanced aircraft and weapons corporations must have achieved what would have been classified as miracles just a few years ago.…

The area of discovery that is most relevant to this presentation is the question of exotic energy sources. Years ago it was reported that both zero point and cold fusion energy had been developed. These are energy sources that could facilitate the 10-year target date and not only revolutionalize the world for the better, but help preserve it as a happy habitat for Earthlings.

In the unlikely event that these sources are not yet commercially viable, all we would have to do is ask one of the friendly species to help us and they would because they are deeply concerned about our stewardship. In the event that we are still treating them as enemy aliens, and doing our best to shoot them down, we would have to curb our lust of conflict and adopt an acceptable level of intergalactic civility.

Better people

The third essential change is for us as individuals. A just and peaceful world is not possible when it is riddled with graft, fraud and corruption of all kinds. Greed is king and mammon rules the world.

Institutions have to change too. For centuries major religions have been selling their alleged superiority or exclusiveness at the point of a sword, leading to the deaths of thousands of innocents. The three Abrahamic religions, for example, all claim the inside route to paradise. Mathematically that is impossible. It is far more probable, mathematically, that they are all wrong and that the truth is larger and more inclusive.

Ancient and modern history both suggest that there is no hope of a just and peaceful world unless all religions, and those with no religion, forget their differences and start working together to build the Kingdom of God on Earth. I define this as a world where every child can expect food to eat, clean water to drink, adequate clothing to wear, a roof overhead, access to medical support and enough education to be able to determine how best he or she can serve humankind positively, with dignity and self-fulfillment.

What a wonderful world that would be! But it would require a 180-degree change in policies and priorities and a serious effort to apply the Golden Rule that all religions claim as a common thread.…

An agenda for action

The first and most urgent project is to clip the wings of the bankers and democratize the money-creation function. In the US the Federal Reserve System must be abolished and its alleged function of regulating the money supply be assumed by the federal government or an agency under its direct control. The most powerful and valuable tool in the economic arsenal must be available to the representatives of the people who can be held responsible for their success or failure.

Some monetary reformers recommend that governments create 100 per cent of new money in a debt-free form, greenbacks or equivalent. In the interests of a fast and smooth transition I am suggesting that a ratio of 34 per cent government-created money to 66 per cent bank-created money would work satisfactorily. Banks would be required to maintain 34 per cent cash reserves against their deposits.

The important thing is that governments must immediately create the large sums necessary to balance their budgets and get their economies running at maximum output again. I am talking about an infusion of perhaps US$10 trillion equivalent to start and more if needed to get economies up to speed and to reduce unemployment worldwide by at least half, with the creation of millions of new jobs.

Is this likely to cause massive inflation, as the financial cartel will immediately allege, because it is one of its longest running and most successful bugbears? The answer to their phoney phonetics is a resounding “no.” As any economist should know, it is the amount of money that is created that influences prices, and not who prints it. So as long as governments limit what economists call “the multiplier effect” there will be no problem.

Certainly the present system has been inflationary. A 1950 US dollar is only worth 7.5 cents today. A common sense monetary system should produce better results than that. So there is no reason why the banking system should not be fundamentally reformed – at once!

There are four other actions that I think we, the people of the world, should demand of our politicians.

1. A law must be passed at once to prohibit all politicians, candidates for political office and political parties from accepting money from any financial institution as well as make it a criminal offence for any such institution either directly or indirectly to offer it.

2. World leaders must adopt a ten-year time frame to reduce greenhouse emissions by 90 per cent.

3. That will only be possible if the US discloses its knowledge of the ET presence and technology, and what has been accomplished in 60 years of back-engineering.

4. The UN should declare 2012 the year of forgiveness and reconciliation – a new era of co-operation and (agape) love between races, tribes, religions, nations, and regions both global and intergalactic. We have so much to learn from our star visitors in many areas including medicine and food production.

International finance versus the people of the world

None of this vision of a just and peaceful world will be possible unless the all-pervasive power of the international banks has been broken … The internet is providing power to the people that they have never enjoyed before. The young people of the world, in concert with the thousands of their parents and others who care about the state of the world, can use the power of social networking to effect a miracle on their own behalf and that of succeeding generations.

The valiant people of Tunisia and Egypt have shown the way by achieving what was believed to be impossible. We share their euphoria. At the same time they, and we, must acknowledge that it is only the beginning. Real freedom will only be possible when they have escaped from the tyranny of international banks, and Wall Street is no longer able to manipulate the price of their daily bread.

A good start might be to distribute a million copies of this speech and translate it into a number of languages. Then the rising generation can bombard the barricades through their social networks. Regime change is not necessary except for leaders who refuse to see the light. But concerned citizens of the world should band together and rattle the cages of all federal politicians. Tell them bluntly that they must vigorously support the above agenda or face inevitable defeat at the next election. It is a simple message, but the only one they understand.

At a press conference on 29 March 2001, announcing the US was backing out of the Kyoto Protocol, President George W.Bush said: “A friend is someone who tells you the truth.” That is what I have been doing today. It is a message of global hope for every race, color, religion and nationality in the world and of peaceful relations with visitors from other realms.

Q. How many television interviews has Maitreya given to date [11 April 2011]?

A. Thirty-six.

Q. How many of the interviews took place in the USA and how many in Mexico?

A. Twenty-nine in the USA. Seven, so far, in Mexico.

Q. Do American and Mexican viewers respond differently to Maitreya’s ideas? If so, what is the main difference?

A. The differences between the USA and Mexico are obviously immense – size, population, wealth, economic development, history and achievement. It would be surprising if their response to Maitreya’s ideas were not different. Mexico is poor. The population of Mexico City is 22-24 million, most of whom, living in the outskirts of the city in shanty towns, are desperately poor. Whether these poor have access to television I do not know but perhaps they do through sharing. In any case I am sure their response is more immediate and heart-felt than in the USA. Also, and this I can reveal for the first time, the television arrangements are different. In the USA, Maitreya appeared 29 times but never alone, always as one of a ‘panel’ of spokesmen with different points of view. In Mexico (seven so far) the interviews are one to one. Thus Maitreya has made a ‘quiet’ beginning and probably will be much more forthright from now on.

Q. Are there any countries which have not been impacted by nuclear radiation following the tragic problems in Japan?

A. So far, no countries have been impacted by nuclear radiation coming from Japan.

Q. I have read that certain plants absorb nuclear radiation more readily than others; could you please say which?

A. Tobacco plants seem to have an unusually large appetite for nuclear radiation.

Q. The homeopathic pharmacy, Ainsworths in London, recommends for the people in Japan the remedy ‘Narayani atomic radiation mix 45’ plus ‘Radiotherapy mix 30’. Is it useful for only the people in Japan? Or which other parts of the world would you advise to take the remedy?

A. Anywhere in the world if you think you have been exposed to nuclear radiation.

Q. In which parts of the world were or are the levels of radiation due to the catastrophe in Japan of last month critical?

A. Nowhere. There has been an extraordinarily hysterical reaction to the Japanese power plant accident. So far, the only people affected by radiation are those living in the North Eastern part of Japan.

Q. Had we better stop eating fish as all the seas are connected?

A. All the oceans and land masses of the world are already affected to some extent with nuclear radiation, as too is the air we breathe. The Space Brothers spend 90 per cent of Their time and effort in neutralizing it (within Karmic Law). We wantonly deplete fish stocks worldwide but, to put things in perspective, there are still a lot of fish in the sea.

Q. Should Colonel Gaddafi be offered amnesty and asylum somewhere outside of Libya in order to save more lives?

A. Yes.

Q. Should the West comply with the requests of the rebel forces in Libya and supply them with weapons since they are virtually unarmed in comparison to the forces Gaddafi has at his disposal?

A. No, they should stick to the UN restrictions but also send in a peacekeeping force, preferably from Arab countries.

Q. Is it true to say that the West is less likely to intervene in non-oil-producing states in the Middle East and North Africa?

A. Yes, there is clear evidence that this is so.

Q. The people of Egypt and of Japan have shown the world lessons of discipline, equanimity and collective support. What factors make them so exemplary? Is it their history, for example?

A. Yes, mainly. Also, in Egypt, Maitreya spent three weeks in Cairo, much of the time with the protestors in Tahrir Square. In Japan, Maitreya and other Masters spent much time during the catastrophe saving and consoling the people.

Q. (1) Do you think we will ever see people-power in the USA equal to that now playing out in the Middle East and North Africa? (2) If so, what do Americans have to protest about?

A. (1) Yes, most certainly; the world awaits the manifestation of the American soul, which, I believe, will happen after the Day of Declaration. However, it was people-power that forced the USA to withdraw its troops from Vietnam and it was people-power which ended ‘apartheid’ in the USA. (2) The USA is enormous and has a population of about 300 million with diverse political and economic points of view, giving plenty of reasons for some groups to protest for or against.

Q. Maitreya has said that Britain will develop a model for an art of civilization; what is Maitreya referring to?

A. A civilization based on economic justice and political freedom and order.

Q. Some people have said that before an earthquake they have noticed a distinct change in the behaviour of certain animals as if they were registering some kind of energy being emitted by acute tension of an imminent earthquake, similar perhaps to the sensations some people experience before a thunderstorm. Is there some way of reliably detecting this energy with enough time to evacuate potentially affected areas?

A. I am sure that many animals have this response to impending danger through some change in air pressure or whatever. I am sure there is a way but, so far, we have no reliable means of detecting this energy, though individuals here and there might claim they can.

Q. Why do we need technology to evolve?

A. Technology is the result of human creativity. Every evolutionary advance has been accompanied by a technological one. Our present technology which you may or may not like is, from the esoteric standpoint, Atlantean magic on a higher turn of the spiral.

Q. Will Maitreya help us prepare the new humanity?

A. Maitreya is at the present time showing humanity what is required to build a new world and a new approach to that life.

Q. When will the weapons trade stop – supposing it can be stopped?

A. When mankind renounces war for ever. That time is nearer than most people think.

Q. Could you please indicate when scientists are likely to discover and really research seriously the etheric planes of matter?

A. They have already done so without recognizing it. What they postulate as ‘dark matter’ are really the etheric planes of matter. Realization is near!

Digital magic

Dear Editor,

Maitreya statueI have a file sharing application on my computer, which was originally set up on 9 December 2010. I can easily transfer large files, such as pictures, to another computer with it. I only share files with my husband’s computer, and with the friend who told me about it. The friend, a fellow co-worker, can only retrieve items through a shared folder we set up.

Today, 3 February 2011, I opened up the application and a photo of a sculpture of Maitreya was there (see photo). It is similar to a familiar statue in Japan, but with a necklace and other minor detail differences.

This image was not in my friend’s shared folder, but one I had just created a day or two before, so my friend could not possibly have placed it there. Nonetheless, I called her to find out if she had placed the photo there, but she hadn’t.

Neither my husband nor daughter use the application at all, but I asked my husband anyway, and he also had not placed it there. I checked when the picture had been created and it was 9 December 2010, but it only appeared in my folder today.

As my friend and I are technically the only possible people to have placed it there, and neither of us did, I humbly ask if Maitreya or a Master might have done so? I have been struggling a bit in life lately and not coping real well, and my faith has become a little shaky. I very quietly used Maitreya’s ‘hand’ to ask for help and a sign recently. I also internally asked my beloved paternal uncle and godfather who just passed away for some sign. I wondered if this might not be a response to one of those requests?

If this is a sign from ‘above’ somewhere, it is truly a lovely gift, and I am deeply and profoundly humbled.

Name withheld, upstate New York, USA.

(Benjamin Creme’s Master confirms that the photograph was placed there, as a sign, by the Master Jesus.)

Positive feedback

Dear Editor,

Just after the showing of Benjamin Creme’s lecture, in Paris, on 26 March 2011, I was leaving the room when a tall, strong, middle aged man, with dark clothes, sitting in the last row, called to me in a strong and energetic voice, saying to me that the video was fantastic, extraordinary; that everything was in it, that everything had been said.

Then he asked me if I already knew about it. I answered that this video was on the internet site of Share International. He said he didn’t have the internet. I didn’t see him again during the second part of the programme.

Who was this very enthusiastic and galvanizing listener?

R.M., Artas, France.

(Benjamin Creme’s Master confirms that the man was Maitreya.)

Family rescue

Dear Editor,

My nephew and his family lives in Minami-Sanriku-cho, one of the hardest hit areas of the recent Tsunami, which happened on 11 March 2011. My nephew’s son, a 1st grader at a local elementary school, was walking home when the disaster happened. All of a sudden, a strange woman rushed to him and told him irresistibly to go back to school and get inside as soon as possible. Without knowing why he just followed her words and he was saved. His father was then under the water in the sea but somehow he was all right – I could not make out how from my mother’s faltering speech. Anyway, all his family were saved.

I was working at the office in a high rise building in Tokyo when the earthquake struck. Fear from the shaking, the company’s order for all the employees to go home, worries about my nephew and his family, nuclear power plant scares, and the news of scheduled power black-outs even in Tokyo, all came one after another and I was quite panic-stricken and confused. In the middle of all this confusion, I noticed a piece of paper on the public notice board in front of my flat. It was a drawing of a monk with two words, ‘Be at peace’ and ‘Remember to pray’.

At first I thought that some monk must have put it up all around the neighbourhood in this emergency situation to help calm people’s minds. But I found none on other notice boards.

Please may I confirm (1) if my nephew and his family were protected by Masters? (2) Was the woman who told my nephew’s son to go back to school someone special? (3) Was the drawing on the notice board drawn for me by someone special?

H.A., Tokyo, Japan.

(Benjamin Creme’s Master confirms that (1) Yes. (2) The ‘woman’ was Maitreya. The father was also saved by Maitreya. (3) It was drawn and put there by Maitreya.)

The need for change – a compilation

We present a selection of quotations on the theme of ‘The need for change’ from Maitreya (Messages from Maitreya the Christ and Maitreya’s Teachings – The Laws of Life), Benjamin Creme’s Master (A Master Speaks), and Benjamin Creme’s writings.

Soon, the world will know for certain that men must share or perish. Maitreya will lose no time in bringing home to all, this truth. He will show men that the world belongs to everyone – rich and poor, powerful and dispossessed, white and coloured. He will make clear the need for concerted action to solve the problems which confront man today, and will point the way to their solution. Calling upon all men to accept the need for change, He will quicken the aspiration and focus the will of men everywhere to see justice done. Thus will He unite all those who seek the establishment of better forms through which the divinity of man can be expressed; and from that multitude will rise a cry unlike aught heard before on this Earth, a cry for justice and truth, freedom and peace. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘The future beckons’)

Maitreya’s coming is about world change: change in our understanding of the needs of the planet, the ecological balance; the change in our economic systems so that all people are fed and cared for properly; change in relationships between people everywhere. The true understanding that humanity is one will show the absolute necessity for this profound transformation. It is the making of a new world. (Benjamin Creme, The Awakening of Humanity)

My Coming evokes in man a desire for change, a desire for betterment, however expressed. My Energies engender in man divine discontent. All that is useless in our structures must go. There are many such which are unworthy of man today.

Man is an emerging God and thus requires the formation of modes of living which will allow this God to flourish. How can you be content with the modes within which you now live: when millions starve and die in squalor; when the rich parade their wealth before the poor; when each man is his neighbour’s enemy; when no man trusts his brother? For how long must you live thus, My friends? For how long can you support this degradation?

My plan and My duty is to reveal to you a new way, a way forward which will permit the divine in man to shine forth. Thus do I speak gravely, My friends and brothers. Hearken well to My words. Man must change or die: there is no other course. When you see this you will gladly take up My Cause, and show that for man exists a future bathed in Light. (Maitreya, from Message No.81)

May it be that when you hear the call for a new start you will find yourself in the vanguard of those who stand for change, happy to lower your demands on life that others, too, might live. Only thus can the world be redeemed and turned again in the direction of the Plan.

None should fear a total disruption of life in the immediate time ahead: minimum, indeed, will that disruption be as the needed changes transform the existing order step by careful step. Never has the need for change been so urgent and so apparent. Never, before, has man sensed the danger of inaction, and stood, as now, ready to open his heart to the plight of his brothers and the future of his planet. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘Reflections of the Divine’)

Maitreya will outline the broad general direction of our thinking. That is: a sense of the oneness of humanity; the absolute necessity for the sharing of the world’s resources; and the ending of war and terrorism as a way of solving international problems. When we show that we understand this, as much help and advice as we can use will be provided. But we have to want the changes for ourselves; willingly, gladly make these changes. The Masters do not come to tell us what to do. Maitreya has said: “I am the Architect, only, of the Plan. You, My friends and brothers, are the willing builders of the Shining Temple of Truth.” The temple of truth being the new civilization. (Benjamin Creme, The Awakening of Humanity)

When Our faces are seen, you will see also the beginning time of changes which will transform the world. Not all at once will the changes take place, but soon the first firm blows for justice and freedom will be struck, gathering momentum as the months and years flash by. In time, all will be renewed and the peoples of the world will breathe a cleaner and a saner air.

Courage is needed for this monumental task. Many are the challenges which must be met. Not easy is it to change a world entirely, nor to build a new one on the ruins of the past. Have courage, therefore, and rebuild your world. Put fear aside and welcome the future with arms outstretched. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘The path to the future’)

Many now in the world accept the need for change, accept that Sharing and Justice are fundamental to man’s progress. This realization itself will change your world. Many there are, however, who forget that man is a God, that in all men sits this Divine Being, and who would deny this truth. Make known, My friends, where you stand in this matter and show your light in the world. I need all those in whom the Light of Truth shines brightly. I call on you. I call you to My side. Come with Me, My friends, and blaze a path of Light into the future. (Maitreya, from Message No.67)

We have to change the world’s economic structure – not only because it seems more just to do so since it is profoundly evil and unjust; we have to change it or we will destroy the world. It is as simple as that. We must change it so that humanity can begin to live as we (as souls) intend to live – in a society based on harmony and therefore equilibrium. With that equilibrium comes greater and greater awareness of who and what we really are. That is our crisis, our problem for today – to know who we are. (Benjamin Creme, Maitreya’s Mission Vol 3)

A new voice is being heard in the affairs of men, articulated by a few sensitive minds among the leaders of the nations. More and more, this voice will give expression to the foremost needs of our time: peace, tolerance, forgiveness of past wrongs, co-operation and sharing for the benefit of all. That voice will issue from the hearts and minds of all who love their fellow-men, creating an invincible demand for world reconstruction and renewal. That voice is the voice of the new era. It is the voice of Maitreya.

Add your voice to that gathering clamour for peace and justice and become aware of your place in history. A new world is in the making and requires the involvement of all: all have a part to play in this great undertaking; none should feel too young or too old to voice aloud their aspirations. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘The voice of Maitreya’)

The people of the world are beginning to make their needs known and are pulling down the Berlin Wall, and the Berlin Walls of all the developed nations, demanding their right to eat, to work, to bring up their children in peace and in decent circumstances. These demands will grow. Maitreya will emerge and stimulate and potentize these demands of the people until there is no government on Earth which can stand against these demands for freedom, justice and right relationship. If the next destined step is for right human relations it has to be brought about. It can only be brought about when people make it happen. It is not an idea which automatically takes place. Maitreya says: “Nothing happens by itself. Man must act and implement his will.” (Benjamin Creme, The Great Approach)

Groups of men are forming themselves on every hand to manifest the new. Inspired by love and the spirit of necessity they envisage a simpler and a saner world. They see that from the imbalances and tensions of the present must grow justice and harmony. They know that they are divine and can perform miracles of change. They sense the needs of the time and dedicate themselves to service. They represent the Good in every land. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘Victory is assured’)

The function of mankind is to act as a transmitter of spiritual forces to the lower kingdoms and so act as co-workers with God. This is his true destiny. He cannot fulfil this if he relegates the spiritual life to one facet of it – the religious life. He can only do this when he manifests true spirituality in every facet of his life. This must include our political and economic and social life, the structures of which no longer answer our true needs and therefore must undergo change. The Christ will make this clear, and show the way to establish political and economic structures which will allow our spirituality to manifest. (Benjamin Creme, Reappearance of the Christ and the Masters of Wisdom)

My children, My friends, I have come more quickly, perhaps, than you expected. But there is much to do, much that needs changing in the world. Many hunger and die, many suffer needlessly.

I come to change all that; to show you the way forward – into a simpler, saner, happier life – together. No longer man against man, nation against nation, but together, as brothers, shall we go forth into the New Country. (Maitreya, from Message No.1)

There is no doubt that there will be opposition from those more privileged members of society who will see in the changes which must take place a loss of their traditional status and power; but the need for change will become so overwhelmingly obvious that they will find themselves increasingly powerless to halt the momentum.

For several years, in five major centres (New York, London, Geneva, Darjeeling and Tokyo) groups have been trained by a Master in the precise legislation which will change our present chaotic political, economic and social structures along more rational (and more spiritual) lines. With the minimum of cleavage, the minimum disruption of the existing social fabric, far-reaching changes can be expected over the coming years. (Benjamin Creme, Maitreya’s Mission Vol 1)

A mighty programme of change will be proposed, leading, step by step, to a fundamental transformation of structures – political, economic and social – by which men work out their interchange and relationship.

At the present time, men might hesitate before such far-reaching changes, but in response to the advocacy and inspiration of the Christ, and faced with the threat of economic chaos, many will see the need for a new approach and a new urgency in tackling the pressing problems of our world.

These problems, if ignored, would continue to fester, and would erupt in tragic happenings around the world. Pain and suffering for millions would be the inevitable consequence of our present neglect. Thus will speak Maitreya. Thus will He show the need for change. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘Maitreya’s counsel’)

Time is short indeed for the reconstruction of our world along lines more befitting man’s true role and purpose. My task is to show you the way, outline the possibilities only, for by man himself must the New World be forged.

There are many today who admit the necessity for change, but still resist it. There are many today who see the crumbling of the old and outworn world of the past, but cling to the old forms.

But there is a new voice being heard among the nations: the voice of Truth, which contains the hope, the promise, of the New Time. This voice will increasingly make its impress on the minds of men, for it is the voice of God, speaking through men. (Maitreya, from Message No.12)

UFOs mitigate Tokyo earthquake

A blinding blue light near Tokyo was the result of spaceship activity to counteract the energy of the earthquake.

A blinding blue light near Tokyo was the result of spaceship activity to counteract the energy of the earthquake.

Video footage taken on 7 April 2011, at the time of the huge 7.5 earthquake near Tokyo, shows a blinding blue light on the horizon. News stations around the world reported that the light could be a phenomenon thought to occur due to intense electromagnetic activity with the movement of tectonic plates.
However, Benjamin Creme’s Master’s information is that the light was, in fact, the result of spaceships from Mars counteracting the energy of the earthquake, causing it to ‘implode’. This action prevented a catastrophic effect from the earthquake on Tokyo city, with a population of 13 million.
This technique is apparently in a developing stage, and had not been used before in dealing with an earthquake of such magnitude. The result was held to be very successful and promising for future emergencies.

Britain releases more UFO files

On 3 March 2011, over 8,500 pages of UFO sightings and reports were released by The National Archives in UK. Covering the years 2000 – 2005, this is the largest batch of UFO files (35 in total) to be made public, the latest in a series of responses to requests. These files are available to download for free for one month.

Before the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act, it took 30 years or more for the release of information. The archives show how in the last few decades, UFOs became a global issue, discussed at the highest level by governments around the world, including the United Nations, the US Central Intelligence Agency and Britain’s House of Lords. The latest files document hundreds of sightings of UFOs on radar, as well as civilian and military reports of “cone-shaped” objects and unusual flashing lights in the sky. “Most UFO sightings had conventional explanations, but a small percentage remained unexplained,” said Nick Pope, former UFO investigator for the British government. “These included cases where UFOs were seen by police officers, chased by pilots and tracked on radar.”

To date, no documents have been released relating to Britain’s most well-known UFO incident, the Rendlesham Forest case in December 1980, when dozens of US Air Force personnel stationed at an air base in Suffolk reported seeing unusual lights in the nearby trees. A patrol found marks on the ground and damage to vegetation. British government files on this incident have been destroyed, “even though other files from the surrounding years have survived,” according to a summary of the recently released documents. “Officials from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) warned that if what it called this ‘apparent anomaly in the records’ was made public ‘it could be interpreted to mean that a deliberate attempt had been made to eradicate the records covering this incident.’”

The recently released documents also revealed:
• The MoD “used its influence” to undermine a demand by Grenada President Eric Gairy in 1977 for a UN investigation of UFOs.
• A CIA paper discussed the use of UFO reports for “psychological warfare.”
• A MoD Secret UK Eyes Only report in 2000 concluded that UFOs posed no threat to the UK, and Defence Intelligence could end their investigations. (Source: national;, Canada;;

Ice forms in shape of Madonna

An ice statue shaped like an image of the Madonna formed outside a storage facility in Michigan on 31 January 2011. The ice took shape as water dripped from a faucet [tap] outside Simply Self Storage in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. One of the facility’s employees, Jennifer Bloomer, said a customer first showed her the statue. “A little miracle showed up at work today,” she said. “I just couldn’t believe it.” The ice is being preserved in a freezer at the facility. The Friendship Case:

Sharing of resources

by Scott Champion

In a rational economic system, food supply and distribution would not be under the control of market forces unless that system, by design, guaranteed an adequate supply of food for everyone, regardless of ability to pay. Clearly this is not the case today as millions starve to death every year. Is it not irrational, therefore, for the world to embrace a market-forces economy where food is under the influence and control of powerful and selfish market participants and speculators? It is these same players who, when seeing a tightly supplied market, bid up prices, making use of the media and other tricks to sow fear in the minds of end-users (in effect gaming the market for profit), which results in sharply higher prices as users act to secure future supplies. As there is a surplus of food in the world per capita, individual food commodities would rarely run out if these ‘operators’ ceased their hoarding and speculative activities when supplies were low1. In the rare instances where individual food items might run out for a limited time, consumers would have to substitute.

Proponents of market forces argue that high prices serve to allocate limited supplies. While there is obviously some truth to this observation, the many devious ‘games’ played with that very same supply are conveniently ignored. Shortages, or perceived shortages, are often nothing more than the manipulation of information and markets – particularly commodity futures and Over the Counter (OTC) derivatives markets – by very large speculators such as hedge funds and international investment banks. Apparent ‘shortages’ can be, and often are, created by sophisticated and well-funded market participants. It is not uncommon today for a single player, or a small group of players, to control the price of a global commodity by substantially buying up the supply that is stored and available for delivery at New York, Chicago, or London ‘Good for Delivery’ commodity warehouses. (As reported by Michael Taylor and Pratima Desai in a Reuters news article in December 2010, the US investment bank JP Morgan recently controlled as much as 80 to 90 per cent of the copper held in London Metal Exchange warehouses.) Once the supply is ‘removed’ from the market and is no longer deliverable (because it is being withheld from the market), speculators are free to push prices to much higher levels. This game is more common than most people realize and is especially easy in the smaller-sized commodity markets. At times, even very large markets such as oil, which went from $50 dollars a barrel in early 2007 to $150 a barrel by mid-2008, can be pushed to record levels by speculators (who were buying entire fleets of oil-filled tankers and holding them out to sea and thus off the market) even though the oil market was adequately supplied. This is the money game, back and forth, played in every available market. But some of these ‘money men’ are also playing these games with food – the basic essential of life.

When applied to global food supplies, this speculative game contributes to a situation in which 1 billion people are food-challenged daily due to high prices and lack of adequate distribution. And governments themselves, acting to protect their farm industries, contribute to limited supplies and high food prices through complex schemes of price supports and supply removal. But the only reason for the continued existence of this inadequate, speculative, market-based food distribution system is to perpetuate a mechanism whereby a relatively small number of powerful, greedy men can become even richer, earning through speculation and by their control of markets and pricing far more than they could ever need or spend in many lifetimes. But for how long can the world stand this manipulated ‘food profit game’ and the millions of lives lost each year? When will the world’s suffering poor, unable to pay market prices to get enough food to feed their families, stand up to the destructive ideology of market forces and insist that the global food supply belongs to everyone? With the now public emergence of Maitreya, that day may not be far off.

If humanity chooses to accept the principle of sharing as advised by Maitreya, an adequate supply of food (which includes clean drinking water) would become a manifested right for all people in all countries. At that time it could be assumed that an informed global public would demand change in the current economic structures, insisting upon a basic level of equity in life’s essentials. Given that the basic requirements for human life are an adequate food supply and safe drinking water, the provision of food for all is the most fundamental need under the principle of sharing and must be given the highest priority. As such, it would become the responsibility of each nation, and all nations acting in concert, to ensure that an adequate supply of healthy food is available to everyone. While the provision of food for all people may not be immediately achievable, according to Benjamin Creme on information given by his Master, it is estimated that it will take only about three years after humanity accepts the principle of sharing to reach the point where no one on Earth goes hungry.

At first, the complete elimination of hunger could only be accomplished by a massive emergency program of aid, a program that would have to go far beyond what has ever been attempted. But, in time, the universal right to food must be established in perpetuity, within whatever economic system, or systems, humanity might arrive at through a global consensus on sharing of resources. Since nothing will be imposed by the Masters, it is up to humanity to choose how to share. One such system of sharing, which has been put forward by Maitreya, is to “Make over, in trust for all men, the produce of the world to the nations of the world”2. With respect to food, this idea (as expressed in Creme’s books and lectures) could be implemented by food surplus nations contributing to a common pool, by item, the food they produce in excess of their needs; food deficit nations, by item, would draw from this surplus to meet their own needs. In this manner, sharing back and forth, a complex barter system could be developed in order to handle this ‘nation to nation’ sharing in a new international system of resource distribution.

After an adequate food supply is secured for all, and if humanity chooses, basic housing (including utilities), healthcare, and education would become readily available to everyone regardless of ability to pay. As most capitalists today are motivated by greed, these four basic necessities, over time, would probably be placed by global consensus outside the grasp of capitalism and market forces. As the movement from a ‘market-based’ to a ‘needs-based’ approach in the basic necessities might take years to accomplish, the present style of capitalism would still be expected to exist in a future transition phase, but the control of the essentials of life ultimately do not belong under a ‘free market’ system if everyone is to have them.

To understand how simple it is for everyone to have life’s basic necessities (at least in countries with a relatively high living standard), one would have to look no further than healthcare models already in use in the developed world where healthcare is provided for a nominal charge, or free, to everyone in need. Utilizing the model of governments spending tax income to provide healthcare (paying doctors, hospitals, drug companies), it would not be too much trouble for these models to go a step further and provide food, housing, and education to all, or to those in need, as the mechanics are the same. It would only require higher taxes (and the commitment), but the necessities of life would be guaranteed. And in many countries, to a greater or lesser degree, this is already beginning to take place. The countries coming closest to providing the necessities as a right, such as the Scandinavian countries, generally have the highest tax rates (the willingness of their citizens to pay these higher taxes is a reflection of each society’s commitment to justice). But it would be up to each nation to decide how, and how quickly, to move from their present capitalist/socialist mix to one where the basic necessities are provided to all as a universal right.

New Socialism

The socialism the world is familiar with is based on the idea that the resources, goods and services belong to everyone in the society and are administered by collective forms of ownership, or the government acting as a collective, for the benefit of the people. The basic principle of socialism as a political, social and economic theory is to create a system of common ownership where nobody lacks. In the old USSR, implementation of socialist ideals involved near total control by the state of the factors/means of production. In China, even before the collapse of the USSR, a more flexible version was implemented, allowing co-operative ownership to exist alongside state ownership.

The New Socialism would preserve socialism’s goal of justice but place political power in the hands of the people. It would not be the socialism or communism of the past, which was imposed from above, especially in the old Soviet system – with political power, resources, and capital under state control – but would be an entirely new approach with many distinct possibilities of implementation. Like the socialism of the past, it, too, would embrace the principle that nobody lacks the necessities of life. This is the main point. But unlike the old communist and socialist models, the New Socialism would not seek to eliminate capitalistic influences from the broader economy because capitalism possesses certain strengths that can contribute positively to a nation’s economy, particularly in the areas of economic flexibility and business innovation. The old socialism was rigid, lacking energetic freedom of movement in its social and economic relationships. In the former USSR, the economy became static and inflexible and eventually failed. The New Socialism seeks to integrate itself into a more open economy, balancing its goal of justice for everyone, including an adequate material life, with the need of people to evolve, to create new things, and to live an interesting and vibrant life.

New Capitalism

In time, and with the acceptance of Maitreya’s ideas on the meaning and purpose of life, the New Capitalism hopefully would evolve to the point where it places its creativity, drive and energy at the service of humanity, leaving behind the hyper-competitive profit generating activities of today. Today the focus in capitalism is on return on capital, making the highest profit per unit of investment. But in the coming times, within the first few decades after Maitreya’s Day of Declaration, making money would no longer be the driving influence of life for so many who are today overly preoccupied with individual wealth creation – and wealth creation no matter the cost to the planet or to society at large.

The present competitive economic energy – the competition over resources between men, corporations and nations – would be transmuted as the world embraced economic models based on simplicity in living and sustainability of resource utilization. The capitalists of tomorrow could benefit humanity by bringing improvements to life and contributing to the greater welfare of all, so that everyone benefits. This new focus on serving humanity could be the driving force of the New Capitalism, and it would be an entirely new line of thinking. It would not be the capitalism of greed and overproduction that we know today. The future capitalists would seek to answer such questions as: “How can we make life better for everyone?” “What new manufacturing processes can we invent that would free employees from the drudgery of repetitive working conditions?” “What new approaches to the concept of work can we imagine and implement so that everyone who needs work can have it?” “How can we create a global work environment where people have both adequate income and adequate leisure time?”

Capitalism and socialism both have something to offer the global economy. If the best ideas from each were integrated into a functioning, cohesive whole, it would be possible to have a global economy that guaranteed the basic essentials to everyone and left them free to explore and express their own individuality in whatever direction they might choose – business, politics, environment, music, art, science, and so on. While the principle of sharing at present may seem utopian, the acceptance and implementation of sharing of resources on a global scale would make this future life possible. Only sharing of resources can set people free from the stress they live under just to secure enough income to provide the basic necessities of life for themselves and their families, a stress which robs them of the full potential inherent in every human life – a life which could be spontaneous, interesting, and secure. Surely we are fast approaching the point in human development and consciousness where humanity can envision a world without intense selfishness, without competition, living in peace, exploring its highest nature and ideals, and dismantling the walls of separation existing between peoples and nations.

Nature gains equal rights with humans in Bolivia

Bolivia is set to make history by introducing the Law of Mother Earth, which grants all Nature equal rights with humans. If passed (and little opposition is expected as Bolivia is suffering acutely from the effects of climate change) it will establish 11 new rights for Nature including:

• the right to life and to exist;

• the right to continue vital cycles and processes free from human alteration;

• the right to pure water and clean air;

• the right to balance;

• the right not to be polluted;

• the right to not have cellular structure modified or genetically altered;

• and the right not to be affected by mega-infrastructure and development projects that affect the balance of ecosystems and the local inhabitant communities.

“It makes world history…. It establishes a new relationship between man and nature,” said Vice-President Alvaro García Linera.

Influenced by the indigenous Andean spiritual world view which sees Mother Earth, Pachamama, as a living being, the draft of the new law states: “She is sacred, fertile and the source of life that feeds and cares for all living beings in her womb. She is in permanent balance, harmony and communication with the cosmos. She is comprised of all ecosystems and living beings, and their self-organisation.”

Said Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca: “Our grandparents taught us that we belong to a big family of plants and animals. We believe that everything in the planet forms part of a big family. We indigenous people can contribute to solving the energy, climate, food and financial crises with our values.”

The law will not be abstract only; a Ministry of Mother Earth is to be established and legal powers granted to communities to monitor the effects of industry, in particular the effects of extensive mining of tin, silver, gold and other materials. However the government has to tread carefully, as profits from mining provide one-third of the country’s foreign currency.

Climate change is already adversely affecting Bolivia in the form of floods, droughts, frosts and mudslides. The loss of glaciers is leading to a farming crisis and water shortages, and if temperatures rise a further 3.5 degrees Celsius as is predicted over the next 100 years, much of Bolivia could be turned into desert.

Evo Morales, Bolivia’s first indigenous President, has condemned industrialized countries for failing to hold temperatures to a one degree Celsius rise. Thanks to his influence, Bolivia has initiated five resolutions approved by the UN including Harmony with Nature and World Conference on Indigenous Peoples. (Source: The Guardian, UK;

Visitors from outer space are welcome

Many Americans not only believe that space people exist, but actually welcome the chance to meet visitors from outer space. A recent study found that 50 per cent of people are excited by the prospect of contact with extra-terrestrials, and believe that these friendly aliens will share their knowledge with humanity.

Leading psychologist, Dr Albert Harrison, of the University of California, who conducted the study said: “The discovery of ETI (extra-terrestrial intelligence) may be less startling for generations that have been brought up with word processors, electronic calculators, avatars and cell phones as compared with earlier generations used to typewriters, slide rules, pay phones and rag dolls.”

He commented that surveys carried out indicate that half of the population of the USA and Europe believe that extra-terrestrials exist and a “substantial proportion” of people are convinced that alien spacecraft have already visited the earth. (Source: The Sun, UK)
